Drip drop, the rain smacks the window
Silence encroaching,Eating sound in its path
The noise, pitter  patter on the roof
The noise that swallows you up in the dark

The cries, no one hears them
Only the potter pat on their ears
My heart beats with every rhythm of those drips
Gently breaking, slowly numbing, Go away
