As a lot of you know, my Photography book was stolen -.- Anyhoo...spent a good two days on the computer creating a new one to publish. I will be getting it in my hands on Christmas day. But everyone can view my new book virtually here:

My new book is dedicated to all the people in New Jersey who've lost their lives, furniture, and even whole houses. It is also dedicated to my Aunt Theresa, who has passed away this past summer. The autumn leaves in the book are for her, because it was her favorite season and living in Florida, she never got to see them.

Sunday- 28th 2012
Mandatory evac. Not leaving just yet. Going to A+P for last minute supplies. Got my cupcake! Found water too. No bread and plenty of empty shelves. Let the kids play outside. Time to take a nap.

Monday- 29th 2012
Windy. Cold. Waiting for the storm to hit. Nap. Going to the beach before it's gone. Heavy rain and wind. Taking video and screaming from microdermabrasion the storm is making. Wet. Freezing. Lights flickering. Trying to watch "Storm of the Century". Electric went out. Nap. Darker. Standing outside welcoming Sandy. Flying debris. Night. One hour before Sandy comes. Last mandatory evacuation was before electric went out. We're stuck. Taylor wanted to evac. To McDonald's. Watching "The Stand" on 'ole lappy. Played church music on the piano app on my ipad. My face pressed against the window. Explosions! Kids come watch. Yellow, blue, orange, green…like the Fourth of July. Went outside. Trees ripping out of ground. Branches holding onto the house. Me going "Weeeeeeee!" and kids talking about Santa. All going "Weeeeeeee!" every time the trees bent in half. Time for bed. 12 a.m. Still awake listening to trees fall. Sirrens, shingles ripping. Passed out. About 3 a.m. Quiet. Strong feeling that 13-14 people died. Very quiet like everything outside is gone. Sleep.

Tuesday- 30th 2012
Leaves everywhere. Broken trees. Taking drive for coffee. No lights. Porches in highway. Quik Chek with wrap around line. Stuck in Union Beach. Wetland weeds cover the streets for blocks. Trees uprooted. No way out. Stuck with no coffee. Home. Monday, church had firetrucks arund it. Today, none. Trying to rescue Uncle John. Road flooded. Waiting for pick-up truck. Driving around. Keansburg. Cars smashed. Houses smashed. Power lines down. No use trying to roam. Reading. Waiting for rain and water to stop. Having cat rescue. Driving through thigh high flood. Lawrence. No sand dune. House under sand. Picnic table, basketball hoop, lawn mower underwater. Canoes. Jacuzzi on the beach. Cat's fine. People roaming without shoes. Home. Dinner. Walk on beach. Pier gone. Bar gone. Boardwalk destroyed. Beach clean. Freezing. Home crafting. Night. Playing spit, slap jack…mom needs her coffee. Reading party. Scarfing up candy. Time for bed.

Wednesday- 31st 2012
Trick or Treat! Checking out Uncle John's house with my crappy sneakers. Pickin up toys and stuffies. Tried starting his car. Arcade games everywhere. Town smells of gas. Mud everywhere. Park is gone. Picnic table in road. Looters running down street. Walking on beach. Rescuing clams and snails. Brought home two tree snails. Boardwalk completely wiped out. Police everywhere. Got yelled at. Checked out Frank's house. Sand. More mucky water. Mailman in galoshes. Pauline's. Went "Trick or Treating" there. Her Halloween stuff is gone. Home. Digging for emeralds. Found handful and one palm sized chunk of quartz. Back at Carr Ave. Found ice-cream poppers. Gave them to kids. Quiet. Real dinner. Sausage and spaghetti. Kids are watching a movie. Sleeping early. Now 9p.m.

Thursday- 1st 2012
Kids woke up early. Eating WTFwich for breakfast. FINALLY had a shower. Going to Uncle John's. Using buckets to drain water out of his basement. Got some more toys. Police are handing out free ice. Roads are almost completely dry. Picked up some debris. Home. Digging for emeralds again. Mom stole some. Early dinner of fish sticks and onion rings. Showing the kids how to build card houses. I won. Ticked off my niece by breaking her cup house. Had to sit for ten minutes getting hit in the face by an ice-cream popper. I hit her with mine and started a full out war. Outside enjoying the fire. Gave my niece some itchy balls for their fight and my nephew cried about it. Enjoying fire with Richie, and Nick's parents. Richie gave us juice. Blew up my pumpkin with fireworks. Got yelled at. Inside making Malibu and juice concoction. Bryan Gillett is here. We're playing guitar by the fire. My niece made up a song called "ACDEF" which is my new ring tone. He told us a story about how Halloween came about. Had tons of fun. Thought of the night: What if tree tops were roots and roots were the tops. The actual world is underground and we're really under it. Second thought: With all the army trucks, I think there's going to be a zombie apocalypse. Tom:  "I GOT POWER!!!!! That's what It's gonna sound like when I finally get power back." He totally sux.

Friday- 2nd 2012
So much for Dia De Los Muertos.  Frank got his aquapod blaster so we shot bottles in the air. Then I collected more itchy balls and made my nephew cry….again. Ventured to A+P. Shelves are empty. BREAD!!!!! We finally got bread. My cupcakes were gone though. They died without being eaten. Cashier told me: "Don't freak out, but there's a chicken on your head!" Everyone loves my chicken hat. No luck finding my license today. PetSmart had bags upon bags of dead fish. The poor things. I wish I could have saved them all in my pond. So much for going in to see my dragon friends and the fat goldfish. Home again. Depressed. Neighbor gave me a golf club to ward off any looters. We got free bags of ice by my church. Was very  happy. Telephone pole was almost hitting a friend's house. Painted my nails for once, because I'm bored. And you know I really must be bored to paint them. Finishing the rest of Tom's costume. 12p.m. Tom has POWER! Kids are still having itchy ball fights. Cleaning my marimo because he really needs a bath. Freaking out without my DeviantArt and a way to charge my camcorder. Ruined my nail polish by digging for emeralds. Might of set a record for the longest nail polish stayed on. Three hours. Found another handful of emeralds and a cool chunk of citrine. OFFICIALLY bored out of my mind. The battery clocks are driving me nuts. Tick Tick Tick…and let there be LIGHT! Didn't work. T.T Cleaning the fridge of everything. Putting some food in an organ cooler. I'm freezing through my bones…making tomato soup. Me: I can't light the stove!!! Dad: Well these little things here…were used in the olden days to make fire. They're called matches!  Played music and head-banged with Mogwai (my parrot). Then played slap fight with Lily (my dog). Dad's lighting candles with a stick. Playing IDK with myself. I won. Fed Bella (dog) next door and watched her crawl across the floor on her back. Tucked her in with a blanket and blew on her ears to keep her warm. She snored. Now watching kids waste napkins to do spit ball fights with hot coa coa. Now they're screaming "I've got the power! Red Robin..yum!" They really don't need fall break. Bedtime thought: I wonder if this is how God is weeding out the bad on his list. People are stealing gas from other peoples' cars.

Saturday?? 3rd 2012
Trick or Treating today. Brought Bella my winter blanket for warmth. Saw a wood pecker getting ready for winter. Showering off and getting ready for my party. Guessing the kiddies will be out at noon. ….Halloween is cancelled…AGAIN. Cleaned up the toys and did my Christmas list. So hungry, the matches smell delicious. Curling up in a small ray of light for warmth. Mogwai keeps making words with friends noises. I'm about to have fried chicken for dinner. Odd numbered license plates are allowed to get gas today. So glad I still have a full tank of gas. Aunt Angie came tonight to see how we were doing. She hooked up a generator and let us do some wash. When she left, we were back in the dark. All of a sudden….8:30 WE HAVE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol. Uploaded my photos and videos.

Sunday- 4th 2012
Church service in the dark. Thought of the story where Jesus tells us to build on rock and not sand. If we build on sand, we won't have strong faith and we will collapse. Went to PetSmart to see if Evan knew about the dead fish. Only the feeders died. The regular fish were evacuated. YAY! Bought a frog and put him with my marimo. Putting together stuff for the homeless. Drained my pond to give the fish some air. My kitty fish died  Picked up branches from neighbor's yard so we can have a fire. Made Reese's muffins for the family. Finishing "Storm of the Century" and curling up for bed. It has been a week since Sandy came onto our grounds, and will take years to rebuild. Pray for the homeless and hungry. Pray for the looters so they know not to steal in front of God's eyes. Pray that this hurricane will never hit us again.

Monday- 5th 2012
Woke up to no fish in the pond. A blue heron came on by and ate every single one of them. Plus my giant koi that took years to grow. My turtle is missing too. Spent the entire day shaking and cursing every bird in my yard. Watching the fisher eat my squirrels up. So frazzled I can't think straight. Can't even cry cuz i'm so mad. Kids are officially driving me nuts. Can't find my license STILL and the points to buy another one...UGH!!!!!! I HAAATTE today. I'm so done with this hurricane crap. Waiting on friends to come over and make believe we're trick or treating and possibly watching "V for Vendetta"
